As others have said very good kit, paid $127 here on a special. The case is the only negative, cheap thin plastic. The drill punches thru foundations like it was wood and very little vibration.

Unleashed the Pit Bull today and it even scared me a lil. I was impressed
the way it's chiseling prowess devoured the old 1953 check pattern tiles
1/2" and 1" size. Before I give this rotary hammer drill the 5 star treatment, I'd like to tell you that I went to town on these tiles by hand
with a very heavy roofing hammer and metal chisel and made very little headway at all by hand. So I decided to use black Friday as my excuse to buy it on sale or not, redoing the bathroom for "the wife" was justification enough, right? So I was at the BORG and saw the Makita,
I already own a combo drill, and impact driver/flash light kit from them and LOVE them so this was my chance to add to the colect.
Suddenly we're my eyes deceiving me? A Free what, Angle Grinder, by Makita as well, FREE?
Ok enough of how good a deal this was,---- it ate through the cement that held the tiles in place like nuclear glue. I'm so glad I got this SDS Drill.
It was like a Pit-Bull and like a good dog; it was man's best friend. Love it. Oh and did I mention it comes with a free angle grinder, LOL. Buy It. While it lasts.

I bought this kit about two years ago on sale for around $125. I have used the grinder only a few times, but it seems like it's as sturdy and well-built as a Makita should be. I've used the rotary hammer a few dozen times, mainly for setting Tap-Cons, and it runs through poured concrete so fast it's comical. I've also drilled some 5/8" and 3/4" holes through poured concrete and brick/mortar. It's got plenty of power to get the job done with the larger bits, too.

It works like a champ! I don't plan on continous, heavy use but the rotary hammer works much better than I expected. I've drilled several 1/2" anchor holes into a concrete slab and so far it's worked flawlessly. The free side grinder (Amazon.com) was a nice bonus too.

I have drilled holes in concrete and it has more power than I will ever need. It is a pro grade drill but for the price ($129 Amazon sale) I couldn't resist.
